Saide is thrilled that Smangele has joined the organisation to fill the position of Partner Development Coordinator, Southern Africa, for the African Storybook initiative.
Starting her work with enthusiasm, Smangele has already participated in some exciting work engagements with our partners, In October, she represented Saide at an event deliberating on indigenous languages, hosted by the Department of Arts and Culture at the Cradle of Humankind, where she was interviewed by Radio 702.
Smangele is passionate about books and reading, she has a keen interest in Early Childhood Development. Saide hopes to also involve her in other Early Childhood Development projects once she has settled into her African Storybook role.
Smangele comes from Dobsonville, she is a mother of two girls, three year and 13-year-old. It will be great to watch the three-year-old grow up with our African Storybooks.
