We are pleased to share two new UNESCO pamphlets: Why OER: Open Educational Resources and Why OA: Open Access. Authored by Dr Tel Amiel and released under a CC BY-SA 3.0 IGO licence, they can be freely shared and adapted with appropriate attribution to support open education and equitable access to knowledge.
These short guides offer clear, practical introductions to UNESCO’s work in these areas, providing accessible entry points for educators, institutions, policymakers, and other education stakeholders who are interested in expanding access to learning materials.
